Eesha is ONE

This custom made pullout "Happy First Birthday" card is for a customer of mine in the UK. Inspired by these two cards (Claris is One and Nat is One), this special "Eesha is One" was created. My customer requested for a dash of pink and that is how this overall lavender/purple color-themed card is embellished with some pink prima flower and ribbon.

Happy First Birthday, Eesha

Dimension

Card measures 12cm X 12cm for the pocket. Pull out card measures approximately 11.8cm X 13cm.

Materials

Due to the random pattern paper used, I do not have the brand and exact name of the star pattern paper.

For the pocket card
  • 1 dark purple cardstock for the pocket.
  • 1 lavender with white polka dots pattern paper.
  • Acrylic tags with alphabets.
  • 1 cream cardstock.
  • Complementary pattern paper to the background. I have used lavender with smaller white polka dots pattern, similar to the background pattern paper.
  • Pink prima flower.
  • Pink ribbons, about 0.6cm thick.
  • Lavender ribbons, about 0.4cm thick.
  • For the pull out card
  • 1 white cardstock.
  • Pink ribbons, about 0.6cm thick.
  • Lavender ribbons, about 0.4cm thick.
  • Other tools,
  • 1 lavender eyelet for the pull out card.
  • 1 cream brad to fasten the prima flower.
  • Foam tape, glue and glue dots.
  • Carl craft corner punch (shown below).
  • Quickutz Khaki Mini Alphabets and Shadow.

  • Carl Corner Punch

I use Carl Craft Punches and for this card, the CP6 Corner Rounder punch is used. You can simply search by typing "Carl CP6 Corner Punch" to search for merchants selling this item. A little bit too bulky to purchase online due to expensive shipping so, it's best to find a craft store nearby.

    Instructions

Due to the complexity in making this card, the instructions are not yet available as I am putting in templates to follow for easy reference. Thank you.
