Making Handmade Thank You Cards

Dimension

Card measures 10cm X 14cm.

Materials

1 blue cardstock as card base.

1 green cardstock.

1 matching pattern paper.

1 green ribbon, approximately 2cm thick.

1 brown thin ribbon.

1 matching button.

Other tools,

Foam tape and glue.

Versacolor blue pigment ink.

Versamark watermark stamp.

Hero Arts Clear embossing powder.

Heat Gun.

This is 2009 clear stamps offered by My Sentiments Exactly and many shops have already run out of stock. However, my favourite online merchant is still holding limited stock and ready to clear at 50% off! So be quick in buying and collecting clear stamps that are versatile for different use. Instructions

Prepare green cardstock measuring approximately 9.8cm by 13.8cm.

Use watermark stamp and stamp the butterflies. Cover with clear embossing powder and emboss the butterflies using heat gun. Love the clear translucent butterflies? Thanks to Versamark watermark stamp ink!

Prepare blue scalloped square cardstock measuring 5cm by 5cm for stamping the sentiments from MSE TT233.

Layer square sentiment tag over green cardstock, leaving a nice border around it.

Layer pattern paper, measuring approximately 9.6cm by 9.6cm over the green cardstock of 9.8cm by 13.8cm, leaving a nice border showing the green cardstock.

Layer green ribbon over the joints of pattern paper so that it will hide the edge. Layer brown thin ribbon over the green ribbon. Tucking all the edges behind the cardstock.

Place the blue sentiment tag using foam tape.

Finally, if the button offers small holes, you can have the option to tie the same brown ribbon over it. Fasten buttons on the green ribbon using glue dots, as shown in the picture above.
