Using Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps, featured in one of my newsletter issue, this handmade christmas card uses only ONE clear Stamps Set from Hero Arts.

Wordy Christmas Tree


Dimension

Card measures 11.5cm X 17cm.

Materials

For the card
  • 1 set of cream cardbase with matching envelope
  • 1 white cardstock (preferably smooth finish) for stamping image
  • 2 pattern papers with subtle design to stamp christmas tree (I have selected green pattern paper with light smudges around)
  • Other tools,
  • Foam tape.
  • Glue/Glue Dots.
  • Hero Arts CL343 "Holiday Sayings" and CL357 "Holiday Dolls" Clear Stamp (shown below).
  • Green, Black, baby blue pigment ink.
  • Sparkle and clear embossing powder. Click here to view the wet embossing technique.
  • Heat gun.
  • Craft Scissors.

    Instructions

  • Stamp snow flakes lightly using baby blue or silver pigment ink on cream card base. Use heat gun to dry the ink.
  • Stamp sentiment "Warmest Wishes" and "On this day..." using green pigment ink on the cream card base, emboss with clear embossing powder using heat gun to set dry.
  • Stamp christmas tree on the cream card base with green pigment ink. Emboss with sparkle embossing powder, set it dry with heat gun.
  • Stamp christmas tree on 2 different pattern papers with subtle design using green pigment ink, emboss with sparkle embossing powder. Cut out the shape of christmas tree and set aside.
  • Stamp Hero Arts doll on white cardstock using black pigment ink, emboss with clear embossing powder using heat gun to set dry. Color with soluble crayon, and cut out doll using craft scissors.
  • Layer the cut out christmas trees over-lapping each other.
  • Layer cut out doll using foam tape to give added dimension.
