Friendship & Love Cards
This is an example on how you can use a little trick to add dimension to your card by triming part of the pattern paper and tucking paper underneath it. The effect is usually very pretty except that trimming the pattern paper needs alot of practice and skill.

Dimension
Card measures 10cm X 14cm.
Materials
1 set of green card and matching envelope.
1 pattern paper, preferably with a border separating two different design. In this project, I have chosen a leave branch border that separates very two distinct yet matching pattern. Make sure the border is not too complicated so that you can trim off part of it to overlap over the sentiment tag.
1 plain green pattern paper to stamp sentiment.
1 dark green cardstock.
1 olive green ribbon, approximately 0.8cm thick.
Other tools,
Foam tape, glue dots and glue.
1 flower eyelet to fasten the sentiment tag (require eyelet setting tool).
Hero Arts C3075 Life is Fun Woodmounted Stamp (Discountinued).
Versamark Green Pigment Ink.
Clear embossing powder.
Heat Gun.
Craft knife and scissors.
This Hero Arts 2004 sentiment stamp is discountinued. There are other similar sentiment from Penny Black that says "everything's more fun with friends!". To search for these two stamps, type "Hero Arts C3075" or "Penny Black 2733E" in the search box below and click "SEARCH".
Instructions
Cut out a circle for the sentiment tag.
Stamp Hero Arts C3075 with Versacolor Green Pigment Ink, emboss with heat gun. Set aside.
Cut pattern paper 9cm X 13cm, making sure the border print is in the correct place.
Place sentiment tag on pattern paper, laying over part of the border and trace the outline.
Trim the border from the pattern paper carefully using craft knife, place the sentiment tag nicely below the trimmed border.
Fasten sentiment tag securely using the eyelet. I have used a green flower eyelet for this project.
Tie ribbon, going through the eyelet.
Mat over a dark green cardstock, using foam tape.
Layer overall design over the card base with foam tape.
