Chelsea's 1st Birthday
Add a dash of soft embellishments like ribbons to create a really nice first birthday pocket card for girls. I enjoy making pocket cards with ribbons as it looks like a little girl wrapped up nicely with ribbons. I hope you like this first birthday for girls card idea.

Happy First "Chirpy" (Cheery) Birthday
Dimension
Pocket measures 8cm X 16cm (measured from the back) and 8cm X 14cm (14cm at the right side of card due to the slanted pocket). Lavender tag measures 7.8cm X 17cm.
Materials
Due to the random pattern paper used, I do not have the brand and exact name.
For the pocket,
1 multicolored striped cardstock with blue color on reverse side.
1 DCWV pattern paper (Nana's Nursery Baby Boy little chicks paper).
1 blue ribbon, about 2.5cm thick.
1 cream ribbon, about 1.4cm thick.
1 lavender ribbon, about 1cm thick.
For the tag
1 lavender cardstock.
Use reverse blue color from the striped cardstock.
Other tools,
Different rub-ons alphabet for "name", "happy birthday" and "1st"
Foam tape.
Carl Craft Corner Punch (shown below).
Non stick craft scissors by EK Success Honey Bee (shown below).
