Instructions
Cut patten paper with dimension 9.5cm X 14.5cm.
Layer pattern paper over brown cardstock leaving 0.1cm border around it. Trim off excess. By now, the dimension is approximate 9.7cm X 14.7cm.
Layer light brown ribbon across the left of the pattern paper.
Layer ivory ribbon over the light brown ribbon.
Tuck the edges of the ribbons behind the pattern.
Use wool fiber, tie round the pattern and securely fasten the buttons through the button holes. (Tip: The best way to secure buttons is to use glue dots)
Cut a piece of tag (using the brown cardstock), stamp some simple design using versamark ink pad. (In this project, I have used flourish stamp and randomly stamp over the brown tag to match the pattern paper. Note that versamark ink pad is slow drying, so after stamping it to create the watermark effect, either let it to dry, or the best way is to use heat gun to quicken the drying of versamark.)
Stamp sentiment "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year" using Versamark ink pad and pour white embossing powder over it. (This is why you have to ensure the earlier stamping of the background is thoroughly dry)
Use heat gun to melt the embossing powder.
Paste sentiment tag on the pattern paper, using foam tape.
Cut the cream cardstock to 20cm X 15cm, score at the 10cm mark, fold it to half to make a single fold card base.
Paste the whole design over the cream card base, using foam tape for added dimension.
