Handmade Christmas Card
Using Hero Arts Clear Design Stamps, featured in one of my
newsletter issue, this card takes advantage of clear stamps for creating unique borders to accentuate the center design of the card.

Dimension
Card measures 8.5cm X 13cm.
Materials
For the card
1 set of cream cardbase with matching envelope
1 white cardstock (preferably smooth finish) for stamping image
Other tools,
Foam tape.
Glue/Glue Dots.
Hero Arts CL343 "Holiday Sayings" and CL357 "Holiday Dolls" Clear Stamp (shown below).
Black, green and red pigment ink.
Clear embossing powder. Click here to view the wet embossing technique.
Soluble crayons or color pencils or markers (up to your preference for coloring technique.
Heat gun.
Craft Scissors.

Instructions
Stamp doll on white cardstock, emboss with clear embossing powder and using heat gun to set it dry.
Color stamped image. You may visit here to view the video on use of soluble crayons for coloring.
Cut out doll image and set it aside. Use of craft scissors would be good to get a more precise trimming.
Place the christmas sentiments on the acrylic block to form a border according to your preference.
Stamp the border (in this case, I have used green and red pigment ink for stamping) on cream card base. Emboss with clear embossing powder, using heat gun to set it dry.
Attached cut out doll in the center of the card using foam tape and add a bit of grey color to form the shadow of the doll. Use of foam tape plus added shadow gives added dimension to the card.
