Previously I discussed about the different types of rubber stamps most commonly sold in craft stores and mentioned about my preferred type of stamps.
My top choice is definitely the clear polymer stamps as it allows me to have good visual of where exactly I am stamping. Woodmounted is something I find it’s such great collectible provided the design is versatile, timeless and can be used over and over.
I am not a big fan of those purplish cling on. Somehow, I just find that the quality is not quite what I expect.
Magnolia Stamp is an exception. Quality wise, I find that they are acceptable. The winning factor is the adorable characters.
I bought quite a number of Magnolia from my local stamping store but have not really used any of them. Can’t wait to get started on it and showcase it here.
Besides the characters, Magnolia Stamps have designs to complement with the characters. Eg, if one of the character is dressed like a sailor, I won’t be surprised to find a coordinating stamps that has a sail boat, beach, sea, sun, etc.
This is to allow your flexibility in creating a whole new image. Good to explore if you like to play around with different items and create your own image.
